Skellefteå AIK Athletics Running (Long distance group)

Skellefteå AIK Athletics Running has running training at exercise level with certified running instructors.

 

The organized training takes place two-three days a week and is divided into summer/ and winter periods. The summer period is between April and September and the winter period is between October and March. The structure is as follows with the risk of some changes from week to week:

 

Mondays

Summer period: 19.00-20.00. Interval training with gathering on a 3 km exercise track in Vitberget.

Winter period: at 19.00-20.00. Interval training with gathering outside Florahallen.

 

Thursdays

Summer period: No organized training.

Winter period: 19.30-20.30. Running training in Florahallen. Slightly tougher training with running training, strength training and intervals.

 

Saturdays

Summer period: 9.00-11.00. Endurance session of about 2 hours at a leisurely pace with the option of shortening or extending it. Collection outside Florahallen.

Winter period: 9.00-11.00. Endurance session of about 2 hours at a leisurely pace with the option of shortening or extending it. Collection outside Florahallen.

Link to new member Select Exercise - Skellefteå AIK Friidrott Löpning For regular training, it is assumed that you have paid a training fee of SEK 500/semester plus membership in the association SEK 300 (Welcome to come and try first). The membership comes with a basic insurance cover.
